Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-15
Aiboll, Inc. ("Aiboll," "we," "us," "our") operates the Aiboll platform, websites, SDK, and mobile experiences (the "Services"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using the Services you accept this policy.
1. Who we are
Aiboll, Inc., a Delaware C-corporation.
EU address: Odengatan 76, 113 22 Stockholm, Sweden
Privacy contact: privacy@aiboll.com
For users in the EU/EEA and UK, Aiboll is the data controller for the processing described here. Where we process data on behalf of a publisher (for example, basic in-app delivery), that publisher may act as a joint or independent controller.
2. Who this policy covers
- Users — people who use a publisher's app where Aiboll runs and who may opt in to earn rewards from ads.
- Advertisers and publishers — business contacts who use our platform.
- Visitors — people who browse aiboll.com.
3. Data we collect
From users
- Account and identity data: email, username, password (hashed), date of birth or age confirmation.
- Device and technical data: device model, OS, language, IP address, app identifiers, and — only where you opt in — mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA / Google Advertising ID).
- Ad and activity data: which opted-in ads you saw or interacted with, rewards earned, session and usage events.
- Payout and wallet data: balance, transaction history, and the payment details needed to pay you (for example, bank, card, or wallet identifiers handled through our payment provider). Where required by law, we may collect identity-verification (KYC) and tax information.
- Inferences: interest or eligibility signals derived from the above, used to match ads.
From advertisers and publishers
- Name, business email, company, role, billing details, and platform usage.
From website visitors
- IP address, browser and device data, and cookie data (see Section 9).
We collect data directly from you, automatically through the Services, and from partners such as publishers, payment providers, and identity-verification services.
4. Why we use it and our legal basis (GDPR)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Create and run your account; pay out rewards | Performance of a contract |
| Serve and measure opted-in ads; use advertising identifiers | Consent |
| Fraud prevention, security, abuse detection | Legitimate interest |
| KYC, tax, anti-money-laundering, accounting | Legal obligation |
| Product analytics and improvement | Legitimate interest (or consent where required) |
| Marketing to business contacts | Legitimate interest / consent |
You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Withdrawing ad-tracking consent means you can keep using the app but will not earn ad rewards that depend on it.
5. Advertising and your opt-in
Aiboll only runs personalized, reward-earning ads for users who explicitly opt in. Opting in lets us use your advertising identifier and ad-interaction data to match relevant ads and credit your rewards. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings or in the app, and through your operating system's ad-tracking controls.
6. Payments, wallet, and payouts
Rewards are paid through our payment provider, Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates; Aiboll is a technology company, not a bank. To pay you and to meet legal duties, we and Stripe process payout details and, where thresholds require it, identity and tax information. Stripe processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. We may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through fraud or in breach of our Terms.
7. Who we share data with
- Service providers (processors): hosting, analytics, payment processing, identity verification, customer support. Bound by data-processing agreements.
- Advertisers and publishers: aggregated or pseudonymized performance and attribution data. We do not share data that directly identifies you with advertisers without a lawful basis.
- Legal and safety: authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and against fraud.
- Corporate transactions: a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not sell personal data for money. Some sharing for cross-context advertising may count as a "sale" or "share" under US state laws — see Section 12.
8. International transfers
We are US-incorporated and may process data in the US and other countries. For EU/EEA and UK data, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum, or an applicable adequacy decision, with supplementary safeguards where needed.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies for functionality, analytics, and (with consent) marketing. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner or your browser. In-app, we use SDKs and identifiers as described above rather than browser cookies.
10. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as law requires (for example, financial and tax records for statutory periods). When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
11. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and organizational measures to protect data. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
12. Your rights
EU/EEA and UK (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Sweden, the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten / IMY).
US state residents (e.g. California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut): access, deletion, correction, portability, opt out of targeted advertising and of any "sale"/"share," limit use of sensitive data, and appeal a denied request. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, contact privacy@aiboll.com. We may verify your identity before responding.
13. Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@aiboll.com and we will delete it.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app, by email, or on our website before they take effect.
